Sáng ngày 05/10/2023, tại Trường THCS Gò Vấp, Chi đoàn Trường Trung cấp Thông tin – Truyền thông Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh phối hợp cùng với Quận đoàn Gò Vấp tổ chức trao học bổng bảo trợ học tập cho em Trần Ngọc Yến Nhi là đội viên, thiếu nhi có hoàn cảnh khó khăn vượt khó học tập trong năm học 2023 – 2024.

Học bổng bảo trợ học tập trị giá 3.000.000 đồng/năm học cho đến khi hoàn tất chương trình học bậc trung học phổ thông, được trao cho em Trần Ngọc Yến Nhi, hiện đang là học sinh lớp 9.2 trường THCS Gò Vấp. Ngoài việc trao học bổng, Chi đoàn Trường Trung cấp Thông tin – Truyền thông Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh còn tổ chức thăm hỏi, động viên, hỗ trợ sách giáo khoa, dụng cụ học tập cho em Trần Ngọc Yến Nhi trong quá trình học tập.
Hoạt động hỗ trợ trao học bổng bảo trợ học tập dành cho đội viên, học sinh đến khi hoàn tất chương trình học bậc Trung học phổ thông được thực hiện theo Thông báo số 452-TB/TĐTN-BTN ngày 22/8/2023 của Ban Thường vụ Thành Đoàn trên cơ sở thống nhất ý kiến với Ban Thường vụ Đoàn Khối Dân – Chính – Đảng Thành phố và các cơ sở Đoàn trực thuộc. Nhằm tạo điều kiện và hỗ trợ các em học sinh theo đuổi đam mê, vượt qua khó khăn hoàn cảnh để vươn lên trong học tập, trong năm học 2023 – 2024, dự kiến trao học bổng bảo trợ học tập cho 16 em đội viên, thiếu nhi tại 12 đơn vị quận, huyện, Thành phố Thủ Đức. Những học sinh được trao học bổng đều là những tấm gương vượt khó, tiêu biểu cho các bạn học sinh tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh.
